iKON is KILLING ME

Image
Yes, you read it right. They're trying to kill me. I can't even think properly as I am trying to write this blog post. I really like korean music thanks to many years of watching korean dramas. At first, I'm just hooked with OSTs but then I discovered Bigbang early 2017. And it hit me. It hit me real hard. I can't believe I just missed all those years of not knowing that Bigbang exists. I spent months trying to catch up with 10+ yrs of their awesomeness. Just my luck, 4 out 5 members are serving in the army, hence, it will be awhile to release a new album. I enjoy listening to Bigbang, Blackpink and Dean. I am into hiphop, RNB, swagger-type of music. And I discovered iKON. I'm trying to add some new songs into my Spotify playlist. When I heard "Love Scenario", I thought it's cool. I like the flow of the song and the voices of the guys. So I decided to check out their other songs. Other than LS, the first few songs I repeatedly listened to were Beau

Major kilig with this Chinese Drama!

Image
soompi.com Want to take a break from korean dramas? Are you looking for a story that's not too heavy? Search no more because A Love So Beautiful (ALSB) is a chinese drama that will make you want to go back to high-school and fall inlove with your smartest, most good-looking classmate. LOL. My colleague at work is hyping ALSB and she said that she ended up watching the whole series for 1 whole weekend. I got interested and tried watching one episode. At first, it has familiar vibes with It Started with a Kiss (Taiwanese) and Playful Kiss (Korean). I don't like these two dramas, hence, I have doubts with ALSB. I ended up not proceeding with episode 2. But then again, the same colleague of mine is still hyping this c-drama. So I gave it another try. And viola! I ended up liking the series and finishing it for 2 weeks. One should have patience in order to appreciate the story. Chinese drama is known for their long series. I'm actually surprise that ALSB has just 23 epi

Something in the Rain is perfect for my ahjumma heart

hellokpop.com Something in the Rain (SITR) is quite something, I must say. Why? Because the female protagonist is older (way older) to the leading man. This korean drama is perfect to my inner tita.  I just finished A Love So beautiful when I started watching Something in the Rain. The contrast, right? So, let me introduce to you SITR. Yoon Jin-ah just broke up with her lawyer boyfriend. In parallel on what's happening to her love life, she's also struggling on her work. As for Seo Joon-hee, he is a character designer to a gaming company. He recently got back from U.S after working there for three years. He then showed some interest to Jin-ah, her older sister's bestfriend. I guarantee kilig moments especially at the start of Jin-ah and Joon-hee's relationship. I'm currently at Episode 5. I know, I know. I'm recommending something that I haven't finished watching. But so far, I'm enjoying the progression of the story. And this is the perfect dra

New Drama Alert!

Image
Photo by soompi.com Lately, I'm obsessed with Suzy Bae's and Lee Jong-suk's new drama "While You Were Sleeping". I cannot, chingu! Their chemistry is so freaking real! Honestly, I'm a bit skeptic before the drama aired because I really ship Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo because of their drama "W-Two Worlds" that aired last year. But time to move on because here comes the new couple who will surely dominate the small screen.    While You Were Sleeping airs every Wednesday and Thursday 10pm (KST) on SBS. There are 2 episodes each day and it last 35 minutes for each episode. So basically we can still get the normal run time of a korean drama which is more or less 2 hours per week. This reminds me of Ji Chang-wook's Suspicious Partner which has the same run time as WYWS (half an hour per episode). The drama is about a girl who sees the future in her dreams and a prosecutor who tries his best for the girl's dream not to come true.

Gyeongbokgung Palace. Taken on my first trip to Korea (Sept 2017). Finally! After much thought, like an hour or so. Haha. I finally created a blog dedicated on what I'm passionate about. I like to talk about it all the time so I think blogging will be easy? Nah, I heard blogging will take time and effort. But I guess, I should try. Yes or yes? So who am I? Hmmm.. Let's see. I will be you friend in this world we called kdramaland. Oh, yes! You read it, right. I've been a fan for so long. In this blog, I will talk about my faves, my reviews, upcoming and whatnots. The more I emerge to kdramas, the more I become interested to Korean culture so expect from me to post about that, too. In addition with those, I enjoy other Asian dramas and movies. Typing about it, it seems like I have so much time! Haha! Bear with me because I have so many things to learn about blogging. I hope you'll find my blog somewhat entertaining. Annyeong!
